Job summary

Evolve Group, a tier-one trading firm, is building a new Machine Learning Research team in New York. The role focuses on researching and applying modern ML techniques, with areas including Generative AI.

You will contribute based on your strongest research background and will not be expected to cover every area. Ideal candidates hold a PhD in ML/CS/Statistics or related fields, possess a strong research track record, and have experience training advanced ML models, with Python and PyTorch/JAX

We are working with a tier-one trading firm building a new Machine Learning Research team.

The team will research and apply modern ML techniques across areas including:

• Generative AI

You will work primarily in the area best aligned with your previous research background, rather than being expected to cover every area.

What We're Looking For

• PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics or a closely related field
• Strong research background in one or more areas of modern ML
• Experience developing and training advanced ML models
• Strong Python and experience with PyTorch, JAX or similar
• Strong research track record, either through publications or industry research

Previous trading or finance experience is not required.
