Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a data-driven ML software engineer with a strong Python background to advance audio, multimodal, and AR/VR research initiatives in Washington, DC.

The role focuses on implementing and evaluating end-to-end prototypical learning systems, working with PyTorch or similar frameworks, and collaborating with researchers to turn ideas into scalable solutions. Experience with Linux/Windows shells and distributed compute is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks in Python (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience handling large multimodal data sets for ML.
• Proven ability to implement end-to-end prototypical learning systems.
• Experience with high performance or distributed compute solutions.
• Some deployment and CI experience.

Job Responsibilities:

BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

4+ years industry experience with deep learning frameworks in Python, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

2+ years industry experiences working with large, complex data sets for machine learning, including capture and annotation.

Demonstrated experience implementing and evaluating working and end-to-end prototypical learning systems.

Experience working with high performance or distributed compute solutions.

Some deployment and continuous integration experience.

Skills:
