Pinterest is seeking an ML Engineer in the Ads ML Engineering team to develop and execute the evolution of the machine learning technology stack within Ads. This role offers a hybrid work model in the United States.

You will build cutting-edge ML models to personalize Pinterest experiences, collaborating across teams, and leveraging data to improve recommendations and content understanding, including LLM-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry ML experience (personalization, recommender systems, NLP, RL, graph learning).
• Bachelor's degree in CS, ML, statistics, or related field.
• Experience building data pipelines and large-scale ML systems with Hadoop/Spark.
• Hands-on knowledge of large-scale recommender or ads ranking systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy ML models to personalize Pinterest experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve ML models across surfaces.
• Leverage data to improve candidate retrieval and ranking.
• Experiment rapidly and launch high-impact features.
• Stay current with advances in recommender systems and LLMs.
