Job summary

JobLeader is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer in Los Angeles to design, build and deploy ML models that drive data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and product managers to deliver scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in ML/DS, strong Python or Java skills, experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch and SQL, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders while staying current with ML trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/DS or related field.
• 3+ years of ML/DS experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Python and/or Java with ML libraries.
• Strong SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of regression, time series, clustering, etc.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to build scalable solutions
• Identify, collect, and preprocess relevant data for training machine learning models
• Perform exploratory data analysis to gain insights into the data and identify potential issues or biases
• Develop tools and frameworks for automating model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in machine learning and apply them to improve our processes and products
