ITC Digital Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to work onsite in Washington, DC, delivering ML-based solutions for federal clients. You will build scalable backend components, integrate CV/ML features, and collaborate with diverse teams to deploy cutting-edge AI capabilities.

The role requires security clearance, a strong ML/data background, and hands-on experience with detection models and ML frameworks. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret-level security clearance or higher are required or an active Top Secret clearance is a plus.
• Ability to work full-time at a client site in Washington, DC.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in ML, DS, statistics, CS, economics, mathematics, information systems, or related field preferred.
• At least two years of professional ML delivery experience.
• Experience with object detection and CV models (YOLO, MMDetection, RCNN, SSD, FPN, RetinaNet).
• Programming in Python, R, Scala, SQL, JavaScript, C/C++, or Java.

Salary: $120,000 - 180,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience with object detection and computer vision models such as YOLO, MMDetection, R-CNN, SSD, FPN, or RetinaNet.
• Programming experience with languages such as Python, R, Scala, SQL, JavaScript, C/C++, or Java.
• Experience with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML/MLlib, or Jupyter.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not require, and will not require in the future, employer sponsorship.

Preferred

• certifications in data science, machine learning, AI, or cloud technologies; experience with SDLC and DevOps in IT project teams; familiarity with distributed big-data ecosystems such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, or Kafka; experience designing cloud-based databases, data lakes, and data warehouses; and experience with tools such as Azure Machine Learning and Cognitive Services, AWS SageMaker, Polly and Rekognition, DataRobot, or H2O.ai.

• Analyze data and assess pipelines; create structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data stores to support frameworks and models.
• Develop custom algorithms, frameworks, and models, or apply existing tools and libraries to solve complex problems.
• Deploy machine-learning solutions and create approaches for scaling them.
• Present findings and explain proposed solutions to clients and team members.
• Keep current with machine-learning developments in industry and academia.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify use cases such as object detection, optical character recognition, automation, predictive modeling, pattern analysis, natural language processing, and fraud detection.

This role joins our rapidly growing Data and AI practice in the DC Metro Area and supports U.S. Public Sector clients as they develop, deploy, and modernize data environments and pipelines. The posted base salary range is $120,000–$180,000. Eligible full-time employees may receive paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k), along with other available benefits.
