Job summary

Frontier AI in San Francisco is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join a high-growth team building multimodal datasets and foundation models. You will own core tasks from model development to production ML systems, working closely with frontier AI teams.

This role requires 2+ years of ML engineering experience, strong Python and PyTorch skills, and a solid grasp of dataset quality and model evaluation. Multimodal/video experience is a plus, equity is offered.

I’m currently working with a high-growth AI research company looking for an exceptional Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in San Francisco.

They work directly with leading AI labs, building multimodal datasets and ML systems that support the next generation of foundation models.

This is a high-ownership role covering everything from model development and evaluation through to production ML systems.

You’ll work on:

• Fine-tuning multimodal and vision-language models
• Building evaluation and QA systems
• Large-scale filtering, ranking and retrieval across video datasets
• Production ML pipelines and data quality systems
• Solving complex problems directly with frontier AI teams

Looking for:
