Join the engineering team that delivers core algorithms powering Vision Pro’s hand and gaze input and AI-powered experiences. Human Interface Devices (HID) is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with experience developing realtime, resource constrained models for computer vision applications. We’re a mix of signal processing, machine learning, and interaction algorithm engineers united by a passion for building intuitive user interfaces and intelligence features for the next generation of computing devices. Across Apple’s products, HID bridges the gap between sensing technologies and user interfaces. The problems you solve will be multidisciplinary and require strong collaboration and communication with partners in sensor modules, algorithms, data, software, and design. You’ll build features through the entire development cycle, from prototyping and feature definition, data collection design, model development and evaluation, and feature convergence.
