Job summary

Kemper Corporation is hiring an Identity Security & Non-Human Identity Analyst to work at our Illinois office. The role focuses on securing non-human identities, securing secrets, keys, tokens, and certificates, and implementing governance across cloud and DevOps environments.

You will collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and IAM teams, drive remediation of privileged credentials, and build scalable tooling to support identity lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IAM, cloud security, DevOps/DevSecOps, infrastructure security, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with non-human identities, secrets, keys, certificates, or workload identities.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, Engineering, Cloud Computing, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing secrets, keys, certificates, and service accounts.

Responsibilities

• Discover and classify machine identities including service accounts, bots, API keys, tokens and certificates.
• Establish inventory, ownership, lifecycle status and reconciliation across cloud, CMDB, and secrets platforms.
• Engineer secure lifecycle processes for secrets, keys and certificates.
• Partner with cloud/DevOps teams on workload identity and CI/CD controls.
• Identify stale or overprivileged credentials and drive remediation.
• Implement least privilege and governance for machine identities.
• Build APIs, scripts, dashboards, and metrics to scale identity tooling.
