Wieland Group in Kilgore, TX, is hiring an Operator, Machine and Foundry to support machine shop and foundry operations, operating production equipment, and processing materials to meet specifications and safety standards.

This on-site role offers starting pay of $20 per hour with a Mon-Thur 6am-4pm schedule and weekly pay. Opportunities for growth exist across Wieland's North American footprint.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment.
• Set up, process, and maintain Turret Lathe.
• Process rough castings from the foundry using machinery.
• Operate machinery safely to ensure quality product.
• Inspect material before and after operation for imperfections.
• Load and unload product from machinery for processing.
• Operate and handle melting/holding equipment.
• Perform quality inspections, including visual.
• Assemble, rebuild, set up, maintain, and operate equipment.
• Operate forklifts to move material.
• Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy.
• Report product discrepancies to management.
• Perform SOPs, JSAs, and QAPs.
• Communicate actively with teammates.
• Other Operations tasks as assigned
