Advance Staffing Solutions (The Advance Group) has partnered with a manufacturing company in Waterville, Ohio to hire a Machine Builder. The role requires 3+ years in mechanical assembly with welding, wiring, pipe fitting or industrial painting experience.

You will read blueprints, install and align components, use cranes or forklifts, and potentially train junior builders. The position runs Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with overtime and some Saturdays, at $20-$25/hr.

Formación

• 3+ years hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, welding, electrical wiring, pipe fitting, or industrial painting.
• Read blueprints, schematics and supplier instructions.
• Own basic hand and power tools; reliable and team-oriented.
• High School Diploma or GED; able to pass pre-employment screening.
• Comfortable working at heights in a non-climate controlled environment; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble industrial machinery and equipment from mechanical, electrical, and piping prints.
• Perform welding, wiring, pipe fitting, painting, and mechanical installation tasks.
• Align motors, pumps, and furnace systems; ensure proper operation.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts; train others as needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, welding, electrical wiring, pipe fitting, or industrial painting. Join a growing manufacturing team and work on large-scale industrial furnaces and equipment.

Key Responsibilities of the Machine Builder:

• Assemble industrial machinery and custom equipment using mechanical, electrical, and piping prints
• Perform welding, electrical wiring, pipe fitting, painting, and mechanical installation tasks
• Align motors, pumps, and furnace systems
• Use hand tools, power tools, overhead cranes, and forklifts safely
• Train less experienced builders on specific skills
• Other duties as needed

Requirements of the Machine Builder:

• 3+ year hands-on experience in electrical, pipe fitting, mechanical assembly (welding), or industrial painting
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and supplier instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Own basic hand and power tools (extensive list provided)
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to take on multiple responsibilities
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
• Comfortable working at various heights in a non-climate controlled environment
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50lbs

Hours for the Machine Builder:

• Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
• Must be available for overtime at 6am until 4:30pm
• Some Saturdays required

Pay for the Machine Builder:

$20-25/hr depending on experience
