Provisur/Formax is seeking a Mechanical Assembler at our Mokena, IL facility. You will assemble machines from prints and schematics, test units, and conduct final inspections to ensure performance specs are met.

We value hands-on experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and precision measuring tools, plus a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement in a global OEM environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, and Loctite.
• Machine shop or electrical schematic experience is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble Provisur/Formax machines and peripheral equipment from assembly prints and schematics.
• Test and troubleshoot completed units against performance specifications.
• Complete assembly checklists and conduct final inspections.
• Submit equipment improvement observations to Engineering.

This role is based at our Mokena, Ill. facility.

Provisur builds precision-engineered food processing equipment used by manufacturers worldwide, including defrosting, grinding, mixing, separating, forming, and slicing systems. Our Mechanical Assemblers build, test, and troubleshoot these machines from assembly prints and technical schematics before they ship.

This role is built for someone with 2+ years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience and the ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical assembly drawings
• Hands-on experience with torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, and Loctite
• Machine shop or electrical schematic experience is a strong plus

Pay Range

The range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for this position at the time of posting. Pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and certifications. $27 - $30 per hour
