Job summary

Opus Packaging is seeking a Machine Assistant for the 1st shift in Jackson, MI. The role involves producing corrugated packaging products in alignment with our values, with a 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Bend, reach, stoop, squat and stand for 8 hours.
• Have good hand-eye coordination.
• Occasional lifting of 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds.
• Understand machine setup, machine runs, plant data entry, handwork, or assembly assignments.
