Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Specialty Artist for the MAC brand to maximize sales, engage guests with personalized makeup services, and maintain store standards. The role requires professional makeup artistry, exceptional guest service, and knowledge of MAC products and promotions.

The position supports in-store events, regular training, and collaboration with brand partners to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology license where required by state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Demonstrates competency in sales, products, and service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals and contribute to store goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and follow up with inquiries.
• Greet, engage, and personalize service for guests; offer samples and recommendations.
• Conduct makeup demonstrations, applications, skincare analyses, and product demos to MAC/Ulta standards.
• Stay informed on promotions and marketing initiatives within the brand and store.
• Book appointments and assist with in-store events to deliver guest experiences and sales goals.
• Maintain brand and store standards, hygiene, and merchandising.
• Attend trainings and collaborate with store teams to grow the business.
