Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Electrician/Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems and related infrastructure at our Massachusetts facilities. You will perform scheduled inspections, respond to outages, and support data/phone networks as needed.

The role requires MA electrician licensure, a high school diploma, and at least three years of licensed electrician experience.

Qualifications

• Maintains and troubleshoots electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts state building and electrical codes.
• Reads, writes, and speaks English.
• Minimum of three years as a licensed electrician.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and troubleshoots electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
• Performs electrically related activities per work orders.
• Conducts preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Executes phone, fiber optic and data work as needed, including installation and troubleshooting.
• Obtains parts via established purchasing procedures.
