Job summary

MultiCare Covington Medical Center in Covington, WA is seeking a Washington MA-C to join our physician/APP office team. The MA-C will support patient flow, perform vital signs, venipuncture, specimen collection, and assist with exams under supervision.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required.
• Minimum one year in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist exams and treatments; venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Administer medications per WA DOH regulations and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families.
• Send/receive patient records and facilitate referrals.
• Prepare forms for patients.
