Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Columbia, SC seeks a Network Engineer for a 6-month onsite assignment. You will work on enterprise network infrastructure, including switching, routing, wireless, and security devices.

Candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet equipment, plus OSPF/BGP/VLANs, firewall and VPN skills, and ITIL-aligned operations. This role requires DC racking, cabling, and documentation in operational records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with enterprise network technologies.
• Experience configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet devices.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• 2+ years of experience with network security including firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and MFA.
• 2+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure equipment (racking, stacking, cabling).
• 2+ years maintaining network diagrams and operational records.
• 2+ years of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and high-availability architectures.

100% on site.Our direct client has an opening for a Network Engineer 13296.This position is 6 months, with option of extension, and is located in Columbia,SCW2 only no 1099’s or subcontracting allowed for this client.Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder2+ years of experience with enterprise network technologies, including switching, routing, wireless networking, and TCP/IP protocols.2+ years of experience configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, AND Fortinet network devices.2+ years of experience diagnosing and resolving network connectivity, performance, and security-related issues using standard troubleshooting methodologies and tools2+ years of experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and security best practices2+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure equipment, including field deployment activities such as racking, stacking, cabling, and testing.2+ years of experience maintaining technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational records2+ years of experience with routing protocols and technologies such as OSPF, BGP, VLANs, spanning tree, and high-availability architectures.Preferred SkillsExperience supporting large-scale enterprise or higher education network environments.Experience with wireless network administration and troubleshooting in dense-user environments.Experience supporting network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, network access control (NAC), and multi-factor authentication solutions.Familiarity with network monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.Experience with network automation, scripting, or infrastructure management tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, APIs).Experience performing network upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle replacement projects.Experience working in ITIL-based operational environments, including incident, problem, and change management processes.Any of the following certifications: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS/JNCIP, ACNT, ACSA, ACMA, FCA, FCPAttachments
