Job summary

Sierra7, Inc. is seeking an experienced M365 Developer to support Microsoft 365/Power Platform solutions, Azure integration, and AI API work for Federal programs. The role requires on-site work in Washington, DC and an active US security clearance.

You will develop, test, and sustain business applications, dashboards, and workflows while coordinating with government stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure secure, compliant deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years total IT/program experience, including 5+ years in Federal or DoD IT programs.
• 3 years of DevOps, SharePoint, and Power Platform development experience.
• Experience with SharePoint Framework, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft development tools.
• Experience with AI API integration and mobile application development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, debug, and sustain business applications, workflow automations, dashboards, and M365/Power Platform solutions.
• Support application modernization, cloud-enabled solutions, migration, and Azure-integrated components.
• Support AI API integration, automation, mobile-capable solutions, and process improvement.
• Develop forms, workflows, reports, data visualizations, and business process automation.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression testing, UAT, defect remediation, and release support.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineer and stakeholders on deployment, release readiness, and documentation.

The M365 Developersupports implementation of system improvements, modernization activities, application sustainment, workflow automation, cloud-enabled development, AI API integration, mobile application support, dashboards, and custom application enhancements

Will be required to go onsite in Washington, DC

Position Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, debug, and sustain business applications, workflow automations, dashboards, and Microsoft 365/Power Platform solutions.
• Support application modernization, cloud-enabled solutions, application migration support, and Azure-integrated components.
• Support AI API integration, automation, mobile-capable solutions, process improvement, and reporting enhancements.
• Develop forms, workflows, reports, data visualizations, and business process automation.
• Conduct functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, UAT support, defect correction, post-deployment validation, and release support.
• Coordinate with the Systems Engineer / Configuration Management Lead on controlled deployment, release readiness, source code discipline, validation evidence, and rollback planning.
• Maintain solution documentation, developer documentation, release notes, technical designs, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Requirements

• Ability to develop and modernize applications using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, and related approved technologies.
• Ability to support AI API integration, mobile application development, reporting, dashboards, and process automation.
• Ability to support full application lifecycle activities, including requirements, design, build, test, deployment, documentation, and sustainment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with PM/BA, Sr. DBA, Systems Engineers, Technical Writer/RMF Specialist, and Government stakeholders.
• SharePoint and SPFx development.
• Workflow automation.
• Testing, deployment, and defect remediation.
• Secure coding and configuration discipline.
• Technical documentation and user support.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, data analytics, engineering, or related technical discipline
• 8+ years total IT/program experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Federal or DoD IT programs
  • 3 years DevOps experience, SharePoint developer experience, and Power Platform developer experience
• Experience with SharePoint Framework, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft development tools.
  
• Experience with AI API integration and mobile application development or working knowledge in these areas
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
• Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140/IAT II certification.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, source code repositories, CI/CD support, testing evidence, and controlled releases.
