Job summary

The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is hiring an EVS Tech in Henderson, NV for both part-time or full-time work. You will join a team that values dignity and respect and uses the necessary tools and chemicals to complete tasks.

This Steward position focuses on cleaning, kitchen support, and customer service in a commercial kitchen and resort environment, with hours from 7:00am-3:00pm and a pay rate of $12.00 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and holiday and vacation pay.

• 21 years old or older
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and perform general steward service tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and being on your feet for an entire shift
• Customer service skills

• Cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors in commercial kitchen areas
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly condition and assisting kitchen staff
• Operates or assists with dishwashing machines and related duties

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME STEWARD

As a Steward, you are at the core of who we are as a company. You arrive for your shift, whether full-time or part-time, ready to get to work. You enjoy \"getting in the zone\" performing a wide variety of work in commercial resort kitchen areas of the facility while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly condition with a focus on offering great customer service and kitchen support. Whether it's cleaning, sweeping and mopping the floors, cleaning and maintaining a wide variety of kitchen equipment or gathering and pulling trash, you get satisfaction out of being able to physically see what you've accomplished. Responsible for running giant commercial dish washing machines or performing runner duties, you get great satisfaction out of being part of a kitchen team and supporting the overall goal of customer satisfaction. You report maintenance repair problems to your supervisor and make sure that all water temp logs, and commercial kitchen safety precautions are followed at all times. We have a reputation for quality work, and this is partly thanks to the great job that you do!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME STEWARD
