Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Manager to join the Transaction Services Tax team. You will develop and implement transaction advisory services for private and public clients, across a diverse range of industries, with access to opportunities in multiple offices nationwide.

The role requires strong technical tax expertise, client-facing abilities and leadership to guide deal teams through complex restructurings, diligence and post-acquisition planning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field; or graduate degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of work experience in a mid-to-large professional services firm.
• CPA or JD/LLM required.
• Tax due diligence, deal structuring and post-acquisition planning experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Interact with Partners on client and engagement management matters.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring and negotiation.
• Prepare memoranda and presentations detailing client company attributes.
• Review tax aspects of acquisitions and drafts tax opinions.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities; advise on alternative tax strategies.
• Analyze tax computations in financial models and projections.
• Gather data, review documents and prepare reports.
• Conduct research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Perform due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Support transaction structuring for tax and accounting issues.
• Assist in negotiations and ensure high-quality client service.
• Participate in marketing and recruiting activities.
