Job summary

Cardinal Health, a Dublin, Ohio based global health care solutions company, seeks a Corporate Development Manager focused on M&A deal execution. You will lead due diligence, valuation, integration and separation planning while coordinating with internal teams and the CEO/CFO for deal approvals.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, with 5+ years’ experience and excellent communication skills. Relocation to Columbus is available.

• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills with proficiency in analyzing complex financial data.
• Strategic mindset with ability to identify and assess new business opportunities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication for interaction with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition and divestiture due diligence, valuation analysis, pre-closing integration/separation planning and closing processes.
• Deal strategy: develop business cases with detailed assessment of marketplace and investment requirements.
• Due diligence: identify critical items impacting modeling assumptions.
• Financial analysis: create detailed financial models and valuations and assess ROI.
• Deal structuring: collaborate with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Treasury.
• Deal approval: support communications with Cardinal Health leadership and facilitate approvals.
• Integration planning: coordinate integration timing with business needs and budgets.
• Separation planning: develop and implement transition services agreements for divestitures.
• Compliance and governance: ensure adherence to laws and internal policies.
