Job summary

Axiom is seeking an experienced M&A Lawyer in Houston to advise Fortune 500 clients on complex transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, and closing. You will draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and related documents while coordinating large deal teams across advisory, finance, and compliance functions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of M&A experience at a top firm or in-house, active bar license in the relevant state, and a proven track record managing

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an M&A attorney at an AmLaw firm or Fortune 500 in-house.
Strong knowledge of corporate and securities laws related to M&A transactions.
Ability to manage multiple high-stakes transactions with clear communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on all aspects of M&A transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation and closing of purchase agreements and related documents.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents such as purchase, merger, confidentiality, and disclosure agreements.
Coordinate activities of large deal teams and stakeholders through due diligence to closing and integration.
