Job summary

BrightTower, a NYC-based middle-market investment bank, seeks an associate to own deal execution end-to-end. You will work directly with clients and counterparties on sell-side M&A engagements, building financial models, valuing targets, and preparing pitches and materials.

The role rewards strong performers with real ownership from pitch to close and opportunities to mentor junior analysts in a lean deal team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with high-performing GPA.
• 3+ years (or less, if remarkable) of post-college experience in investment banking with sell-side M&A.
• Sophisticated knowledge in financial modeling, valuations, corporate finance, and accounting.
• Confident presenter with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to tell compelling client stories.
• Strong desire to be part of a fast-paced entrepreneurial culture and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day deal execution and lead information flow between parties.
• Develop and review financial models, valuations, and due diligence analyses.
• Research industry trends, companies, investors, and precedent transactions.
• Create high-quality deliverables for clients, including pitches and management presentations.
• Build strong relationships with clients and prospective buyers beyond a single transaction.
• Supervise and mentor Analyst colleagues.
