Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an Analyst to support Advisor M&A across deal support and sell-side teams in a fast‑paced environment. You will help with analyses, valuations, due diligence, and reporting, contributing to team insights and decision‑making.

The role offers exposure to transaction structures and financing solutions and a potential pathway to senior advisor roles. You will work closely with deal teams, build client-ready deliverables, and develop scalable processes supporting growing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
1–3 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, wealth management, corporate development, financial services, or a related analytical role.
1+ years’ experience with Excel, including building analytical models and actionable insights.
1+ years’ experience creating presentations or client-ready deliverables with PowerPoint.
Foundational understanding of M&A transactions and valuation concepts.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing transaction analyses, valuations, and other deal materials for ongoing engagements.
Assist with acquisition due diligence by organizing financial and operational data.
Perform analyses including deal size trends, structure, financing, and quarterly comparisons.
Develop understanding of small business M&A, valuation methodologies, deal structures, financing, and industry trends.
Maintain valuation statistics, deal data, and reporting tools to support analytics.
