Lymphoma Clinical Scholar, Faculty Physician (Assistant/Associate)

Rutgers Cancer Institute seeks an academically oriented hematologist/oncologist for a clinical research position with a clinical focus in lymphoma. Candidates should have experience in original clinical research, exceptional clinical skills, and a record of successful research leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality clinical care and consulting in hematology/oncology with a lymphoma focus at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
• Support educational goals of the medical school by teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and delivering targeted lectures.
• Lead and conduct clinical research projects, including clinical trials, immunotherapy, CAR T‑cell therapy, precision medicine, and other innovative treatments.
• Collaborate with clinical and research programs at Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health.
• Contribute to the broader research community through publication, presentations, and mentoring of trainees.
• When qualified, may be considered for Section Head of Hematologic Malignancy.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree and ABIM (or equivalent) eligible/certified.
• Completed or in progress of completing a 3‑year hematology/oncology fellowship.
• Active or eligible for a New Jersey medical license.
• Mid‑senior level with evidence of conduct and leadership in clinical research.

Certifications & Licenses
