Job summary

Sequoia Living is hiring an LVN to provide direct and indirect resident care, ensuring safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and prevention of disease. The role includes supervising CNAs, maintaining records, and coordinating care with the physician.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current California LVN license and BLS certification.
• Gerontological nursing experience desirable.
• May supervise CNAs in absence of RN or Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments.
• Directs CNAs in performance of their duties.
• Maintains medical records and charts summaries.
• Plans resident care activities per Service Plan and participates in the interdisciplinary team.
• Functions as shift Charge Nurse as assigned.
• Performs related work as assigned.
