Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for weekend evenings to provide compassionate nursing care in a community setting. The LVN administers medications and treatments according to physician orders and supports residents with personalized care.

The role includes supervising resident assistants and Med Aides, performing assessments, and assisting with staffing schedules.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license.
• Minimum one year of experience in health, human services or community services field.
• Must possess interpersonal relations skills, initiative, judgment and leadership abilities.

Job Description

Our community setting is a relaxing change from a hectic hospital. Here at SRG you have a chance to get to know your patients; our residents count on the LVN to provide compassionate care. You will provide residents with nursing services in accordance with physician's orders. The LVN is responsible for the administration of medications and treatments.

Essential Duties

• Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities. Initiative, judgment, and leadership skills also required.
