• Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a license as Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attend sick call with physician to see inmates/residents; prepare lists and exam spaces.
• Operate pill call, dispense medications and document as required by policies.
• Control medications, syringes, and medical supplies; inventory as required by procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all medical records.
