Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for pediatric and adult patients across Orange County. We value experience with tracheostomies and ventilators, and pediatric experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LVN license to practice in California.
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is required or highly preferred.
• Pediatric nursing experience is highly preferred for private duty assignments.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused private duty nursing at home.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, feeding tubes, and other specialized medical needs.
• Monitor and document patient status, identifying changes in physical or psychosocial condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and care plans.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.

We are actively recruiting nurses with tracheostomy and ventilator experience, and pediatric experience is highly preferred.

We have multiple cases available with flexible scheduling, including:
