Job summary

United Medical Centers is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to direct and provide nursing care in alignment with established policies. You will work under supervision with the Clinical Nursing Coordinator and contribute to patient education and health promotion while maintaining proficient use of the EHR system.

Requirements include a Texas LVN license, high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and 2+ years of nursing experience; supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing (LVN).
  • Current license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas.
  • Must have current CPR certification.
  • At least two years of nursing experience in various specialties preferred.
  • Minimum of one to two years of supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and provide nursing care per established policies and procedures.
  • Deliver health education and disease prevention services as needed.
  • Provide age-appropriate care across the life span and maintain EHR proficiency.
  • Collaborate with physicians/providers in patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with State/Federal regulations and center policies.
