Job summary

Vi invites an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our part-time NOC shift team in San Diego. You will deliver resident care from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, assess needs, implement prescribed interventions and document outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an LPN graduate with CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, 6 months of LPN experience, and basic computer skills. Prior geriatric experience is preferred; training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Current CPR and AED certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain it.
• Minimum 6 months of LPN experience preferred.
• Prior geriatric experience preferred.
• Food handler certification where required.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and services to residents by identifying needs and implementing prescribed interventions.
• Evaluate outcomes and conditions of residents.
• Provide personal care as needed and communicate with the care team.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN- Part Time NOC Shift (11pm-730am)

As a LPN you will be responsible for delivering care and services to residents through the identification of resident needs and implementing prescribed interventions along with evaluating outcomes and conditions. This position performs personal care for residents as needed and communicates and collaborates with other members of the care team to resolve resident care problems, enhance care delivery and participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants are required to have graduated from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Licensed Practical/Vocation Nurse is preferred.
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
• Food handlers certification, where required.
• Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn.
