The Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans (AAMA) in Laredo, Texas is seeking a licensed LVN to join our Medication for Opioid Use Disorder program.

You will administer medications, perform phlebotomy, maintain records, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to support patients in recovery.

This full-time role requires early morning hours; starting date immediately; salary $20–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Texas LVN license and graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • At least 1 year of LVN experience.
  • Experience in addictions is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to work early mornings and Saturdays on rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to patients and ensure safety.
  • Maintain medication inventory and records.
  • Perform phlebotomy and lab-related tasks.
  • Record dosages in medical records and document lab results.
  • Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance including privacy rules.
  • Greet and assist patients at the center.
