The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide efficient, safe, and high-quality care to residents on a on-site unit. You will supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, and ensure a clean, safe environment for all residents.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, document care plans, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting onboarding of new staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program.
• Current and active LVN license in the state of California.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years of acute or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and oversee comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications and treatments, and assessing residents' conditions.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
• Supervise nursing assistants and actively participate in resident care as required.
• Utilize available resources to ensure optimal care is provided.
• Maintain unit supplies and equipment and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Document care needs and interventions accurately in medical records and care plans.
• Maintain effective communication across nursing shifts, departments, supervisors, physicians, and resident families.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control policies.
