Job summary

Grand Living in Austin, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for PRN shifts. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and supervise care staff to ensure high-quality resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing, required.
• Three or more years’ nursing experience, preferred.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment, required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to educate, train and supervise staff; communicate with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and administer medications per physician orders for residents.
• Evaluate and supervise assigned nursing personnel and aides; participate in rounding.
• Lead orientation, education and training of staff.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and Grand Living standards.
• Contribute to high Resident and family satisfaction.
