Job summary

Cantex in Plano, TX is seeking an LVN/LPN Charge Nurse to oversee patient care under the LVN/LPN scope of practice and support clinical teams. You will monitor patient conditions, document changes in the EMR, and ensure care plans are followed with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid LVN/LPN license.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care within the LVN/LPN scope of practice.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and changes; document per policies.
• EMR documentation related to patient assessment and changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; ensure care plans are implemented.
• Supervise CNA staff to ensure safe, appropriate clinical care.
