Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LVN in California; compact license if working in a Compact state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.
• Long term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice to meet patient needs.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program and uses Infection Control Manual as applicable.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring in programs.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
