Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Assesses staffing needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinates; assigns duties.
• Organizes tasks and time allocations for staff.
• Oversees and monitors activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluates staff performance and initiates corrective action.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
• Investigates accidents/incidents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

LVN Requirements:
