Job summary

Open Door Community Health Centers seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse I to join the Eureka health center team. The LVN I will perform MA tasks, assist providers, and manage patient rooming, vitals, and education while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications include a CA LVN license, LVN training, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS/CPR. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to ODCHC policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
• Ability to use computer systems including EHRs and Office applications.
• Completion of LVN program and California LVN licensure required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and orientation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient care following ODCHC model of care.
• Record patient histories, vitals, and test results with HIPAA compliance.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered and follow seven rights of administration.
• Prepare patients for visits, perform rooming duties, and assist with minor procedures.
