Golfcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Houston, TX. This in-person role focuses on delivering high-quality care to residents, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily activities, and administering medications.

The successful candidate will hold a current LVN license, complete required competency and orientation programs, and participate in ongoing health screenings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid LVN license in good standing.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Take and monitor patient vital signs.
• Assist patients with eating, dressing, and bathing.
• Administer medication.
• Communicate changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Take an active part in patient care planning.
• Prepare patients for transfers or discharge.
• Manage emergency medical situations.
