Job summary

Marin Ventures in California is seeking a LVN/DSPIII to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our weekday day program, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will collaborate with the Program Director and leadership to implement the mission and create a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, medical emergency response, documentation, coordinating with physicians, overseeing medication schedules, and helping with personal care and activities.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license required.
• Current CPR/FA/AED certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid CA driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for medical issues and emergencies.
• Assess and maintain skin health; prevent breakdown.
• Perform transfers and wheelchair breaks as needed.
• Maintain health records and nursing assessments for assigned participants.
• Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and service providers to ensure care.
• Ensure medication schedules are followed and communicate changes.
• Support health-related goals and activities for participants.
