Job summary

University Health is seeking licensed Vocational Nurse candidates in Texas to join its nursing services. Experience in correctional health care, psychiatric nursing, or emergency nursing is preferred, with familiarity of University Health System’s nursing operations welcome.

Candidates must hold a Texas Vocational Nursing license and current CPR certification. Previous exposure to correctional health care or related certifications such as CCHP are considered strong assets in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in correctional health care, psychiatric nursing, or nursing in an emergency environment is preferred.
• Prior knowledge or experience within the University Health System's nursing services and/or certification as a Certified Correctional Health Care Provider (CCHP) is also preferred.
