• Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed.
• Recognize abnormal lab values and report to physician.
• Knowledge of life-threatening medical problems and symptomatology.
• Proficient in Windows and computerized patient care systems.
• Knowledge of safety when handling biohazardous specimens or instruments.
• Interpersonal skills for cooperative team environment.
• Verbal skills to convey sensitive information professionally.
