Job summary

Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center of Corpus Christi is seeking an LVN Charge Nurse for PRN shifts in the Corpus Christi, TX facility. You will support resident care quality, administer medications, and ensure adherence to individualized care plans.

Qualified candidates have completed an LVN program and hold an active Texas license; prior skilled nursing experience is preferred. Strong rounds, documentation, and policy compliance are required.

Qualifications

• LVN program completed at an accredited vocational school or college.
• Active Licensed Vocational Nurse license in Texas in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, document resident condition and changes during rounds.
• Ensure care plans are implemented as directed.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Conduct rounds with physician and document visits in clinical records.
• Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts.
• Identify significant changes in residents' conditions and take necessary action per facility policies.
