Qualifications

• Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
• Must be an active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition/change during rounds.
• Assure implementation of care plans as directed.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Record physician visits in the clinical records.
• Oversee and monitor aides; complete incident/accident reports as needed.
• Discharge residents per facility policy; perform nursing assessments for physician calls.
