Mesquite Village Wellness & Rehabilitation in Mesquite, TX seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead nursing personnel, coordinate care delivery, and ensure services meet professional standards under physician orders and center policies. This is a full-time leadership role in a clinical setting.

The position emphasizes infection control, QA processes, patient and family education, and timely cross-department communication, with readiness to use emergency equipment as needed.

Formación

• Currently licensed LPN/LVN in state.
• One-year prior nursing leadership/management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the HCR Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Q.A.A.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Practice Guide Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Locates and uses emergency equipment when necessary.

Objective

Supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
