Job summary

Cook Children's Celina Primary Care is seeking an LVN to join our pediatric ambulatory team. You will collaborate with physicians and NPs, perform patient assessments, and deliver essential health education in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LVN program, Texas LVN licensure, and BLS. 0+ years of pediatric/ambulatory experience preferred. Work hours are Monday–Friday, with shift times 8:00am–5:00pm or 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
• 0+ year of clinical experience in a pediatric or ambulatory setting.
• Current LVN license in Texas and BLS certification.

Location: Celina Primary Care Department: Celina Primary Care Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40

Summary: The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse functions in a collaborative practice alongside physicians and nurse practitioners within a physician practice or clinic setting. In this role, the nurse provides comprehensive ambulatory care by performing patient-focused assessments, executing clinical interventions, and delivering vital health education to patients and their families. They are responsible for skillfully and consistently performing daily clinical duties in strict accordance with established organizational policies and medical procedures.

Education & Experience

Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing. 0+ year of clinical experience in a pediatric or ambulatory setting. Clinical experience preferred.

Licensure, Registration, or Certification

Current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm
