Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide routine nursing care under supervision in a fast-paced environment. Training will occur at the Administrative facility with subsequent work-from-home opportunities after approximately 90 days.

You must reside in Texas and attend on-site training and occasional meetings in Austin, TX. Required licensure as a Texas LVN and current AHA BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
• Current Texas LVN license and BLS CPR certification.
• Ambulatory or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and completely performs patient follow-up activities including laboratory results and diagnostics, appointments, referrals, medications, and call backs.
• Able to assist in ordering/re-ordering of prescriptions within company protocol.
• Adheres to all policies including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct.
• Regular and dependable attendance.
• Follows core competencies available for review on CMSweb.
• Works holiday shifts as required by policy.
• Accurately reports and documents status, care rendered, and provider orders.
• Participates in orientation of new employees.
