Paylocity is seeking a qualified LVN to join our primary care team. The role involves direct patient care, supervising medical assistants, and coordinating clinical workflows to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care.

The candidate will educate patients, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and participate in quality initiatives and regulatory compliance. A California LVN license and BLS are required, with 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
• Current California LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in primary care or outpatient setting preferred.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under physician supervision, including vitals, injections, immunizations, wound care, and meds.
• Assist development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvements.
• Supervise or guide medical assistants and support staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Coordinate patient flow to optimize provider schedules and patient experience.
• Educate patients on disease management, preventive care, and medication adherence.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Ensure clinical areas are stocked, organized, and compliant with infection control standards.
• Support providers during procedures and exams.
• Participate in staff training, meetings, and performance evaluations as needed.
• Assist with audits, vaccine management, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA).

Position Summary

We are looking for a key member of our team responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered clinical support in a primary care setting. This role involves direct patient care, coordination of clinical workflows, and support for medical assistants and nursing staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

• Conduct patient education on disease management, preventive care, and medication compliance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked, organized, and compliant with infection control and safety standards.

• Participate in staff training, meetings, and performance evaluations as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday (with occasional weekends or extended hours as needed).
