Job summary

Marin Post Acute is seeking a licensed LVN to provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing setting. You will supervise CNAs, administer medications, and maintain accurate resident records.

The ideal candidate holds an active CA LVN license with CPR certification, and values teamwork. This full-time position offers competitive pay and opportunities for ongoing education within a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LVN license in California.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs on your shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Chart resident conditions, care provided, and responses accurately.
• Transcribe physician orders and maintain up-to-date resident records.
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the supervising nurse/physician.
• Perform treatments such as wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and vital signs.
• Ensure care plans are followed and updated as resident needs change.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education.
