Job summary

Proteinea is seeking a skilled LV Studies Engineer – Tender with 2+ years’ experience, preferably in ABB or Siemens panel building and LV switchgear systems. You will conduct LV studies, prepare technical proposals, and support tender activities to deliver optimized solutions.

Responsibilities include performing LV studies, reviewing tender documents, designing optimized ABB/Siemens solutions, and preparing technical submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in LV studies and tender engineering.
• Proficiency with electrical calculation and design tools (ETAP, Ecodial, Caneco).
• Strong knowledge of ABB or Siemens LV switchgear systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform LV electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
• Review tender specs, drawings, and docs to assess project scope and requirements.
• Design and propose optimized solutions based on ABB or Siemens panel building standards and products (e.g., System pro E, MNS, Sivacon).
• Prepare detailed technical proposals and cost-effective solutions for tenders and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with Sales and Tendering teams to develop competitive, technically compliant offers.
• Coordinate with procurement and design teams to ensure alignment on equipment specs and availability.
• Support site teams and clients during clarification meetings and technical discussions.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Provide technical input for BOM, SLDs, and general arrangement drawings.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented LV Studies Engineer – Tender with more than 2 years of experience, preferably in ABB or Siemens panel building and low voltage switchgear systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting electrical studies, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring optimal solutions are offered to clients during the tendering phase. This role requires deep knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems, ABB or Siemens switchgear products, and electrical design software tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform Low Voltage (LV) electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
• Review tender specifications, drawings, and technical documents to assess project scope and requirements.
• Design and propose optimized solutions based on ABB or Siemens panel building standards and products (e.g., System pro E, MNS, Sivacon, etc.).
• Prepare detailed technical proposals and cost-effective solutions for tenders and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Tendering teams to develop competitive and technically compliant offers.

• Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, and necessary documentation for approval processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in LV studies and tender engineering, with a focus on ABB LV panel building.
• Proficiency in electrical calculation and design software (e.g., ETAP, Ecodial, Caneco, or similar).
• Strong understanding of ABB or Siemens LV switchgear systems (e.g., MNS, System pro E, Tmax, Emax, Sivacon, etc.).
• Experience with IEC standards and local electrical regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical SLDs, and tender documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
