Job summary

HCB Yachts, a world-leading luxury center console yacht maker, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Tech to ensure materials and vendors meet strict quality standards. You will review specifications, test products, and monitor fiberglass parts progress with AIMs.

Ideal candidates have strong statistical analysis, manufacturing knowledge, and excellent communication to drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with quality control standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
• Good working knowledge of quality control standards and government compliance.
• Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills
• Intermediately proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing our manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for production.
• Reviewing incoming supplies and products from vendors to check for defects and ensure quality.
• Conducting tests and assessments on products to identify quality issues.
• Inspect gel coat for appearance defects (experience preferred).
• Tracking progress of all fiberglass parts with AIMs until repairs are validated.
